Yes, provided it has either Bluetooth connectivity or output to a standard 3.5mm audio jack

Yes, as long as they have a standard 3.5mm audio jack.

Not really. It is great fun with first person shooter games and “club” music – but many people also like it with quiet music – even classical!

Simply plug your headset into Strap

Wired option – one side of the provided 3.5mm audio cable is connected to Strap and the other side into your audio source (e.g. console, PC, cellphone, tablet, music player etc).

Bluetooth option – simply pair your audio source to Strap

There are a number of options how to wear Strap. The transducers should be positioned on either side of the body such that they are opposite each other. One can wear Strap around the chest or around the waist.

No. It is completely silent – so you can play your favorite game to all hours, at any vibe level and not disturb anyone.

No, not at all – the audio signal passes through unaffected.

Not really. But the sensation is slightly more pronounced in low-end headsets where the bass frequencies are not enhanced.

Of course…….and you’ll be truly amazed! Strap’s tactile sensation is phenomenal for the hearing impaired and even for the deaf. It was awesome!

No. In fact, that is one of the reasons why Strap works so amazingly. We simply amplify the frequencies below 500Hz and deliver polyphonic (multi-tone) vibration in real-time. In addition Strap has an integrated analog audio amplifier for the signal that is passed to the headsets.

The delay (latency) is similar to standard speakers/headsets and is undetectable by the user. The latency is 1.3 milliseconds. This is in substantial contrast to competing approaches which employ algorithms to impart polyphonic properties to tactile devices. In such cases, there is significant latency between what is seen and heard compared to what is felt – and thus there is limited perceptual inference (auto-completion) by the brain.

Yes the vibration level and the volume levels are independently controlled by the selector in the Strap

Strap has indications for On/Off; Vibration intensity; Low Battery; Charging in progress; Fully Charged and Bluetooth On/Paired .

No. Simply wearing Strap couples the vibration to the body.

No. You can leave Strap on during your conversation.

No. Strap has its own integral rechargeable battery and will not draw any energy from the audio source.

The rechargeable battery gives over 5 hours of playtime for intense “club” type music at high volumes. It gives longer for games, movies and “mellow” music.

3 hours. The charging light will change from red to green.

Yes

The integral battery (2600mAh, 3.7V) is a metal case prismatic lithium-ion battery, similar to those used in laptops. The battery is from a high volume production line and has the associated reliability. Its lifetime should exceed 3 years with normal daily use.
